Admissions

Thank you for your interest in Highland Hall Waldorf School. Our website will provide you with information which should be helpful in introducing you to the principles and philosophies that make us unique. We realize that researching schools for your child can be an overwhelming experience and we are ready to assist you in any way we can.

Upon reviewing the information, you will find that Highland Hall takes an active and creative approach to education which has been successful for 50 years. Our staff is extremely talented and devoted, and most have children who attend or have attended school here. We are a close-knit school community where parents and faculty work together to provide the best possible experience for our children.

Our application deadline is January 31. Applications completed after January 31 will be reviewed as space permits. If there are openings in a class, we will accept students into that class at any time during the school year. Some of our classes are at capacity; in those cases applicants are placed in the candidate pool. Please examine enrollment precedures carefully  before completing the application. If you have any questions about this process we will be happy to work with you more closely.

In order to fully appreciate what is offered at Highland Hall, plan to visit our beautiful 11-acre campus to see and experience Waldorf Education in action. We have numerous events throughout the school year for you to do just that. Some events are for you and your child, some are for you alone. All are wonderful occasions to hear about our philosophy, see student work, and ask questions of our faculty and administrators.

When we have received your completed application, you will be called to set up an interview with a teacher.
