Welcome to the Highland Hall Development Web Page
Highland Hall Waldorf School depends on the generosity of our parents, faculty, alumni community, friends and foundations to help create a supportive environment that nurtures the development and education of our students. And, in turn, our students receive the foundation they need in order to make their contributions to their communities and the wider world.
Every private school relies on support above and beyond tuition and fees because the real cost of educating our children, of giving them a cultural and academic foundation, is more than the cost of tuition. A full, rich Waldorf education requires generous tax-deductible gifts to preserve the vibrancy and diversity of our curriculum.
Annual Giving
This is Highland Hall's basic fundraising drive each year. The goal is to close the gap between tuition revenue and the costs of operation. All monies raised are dedicated to the operating budget of the school, which covers such items as teacher salaries, financial aid and student programs and services. Annual giving enables every parent to participate productively in the financial life of the school with a tax-deductible gift, by which the school sustains itself. As we strive to improve and enhance our programs, the generosity of these gifts makes a significant difference in the lives of our students and creates a financial ring of donors around our school that enables us to fulfill our mission.
Donor Circles
Every donor to Highland Hall is important to us, and every gift is received with deep appreciation. We also pay special tribute to those donors who become members of our donor circles. Their leadership gifts have helped raise recent levels of giving to new heights. To honor their generous support, members of the Donor Circles are listed in our Annual Report.
