Halloween

What
Halloween
When
10/31/2014

Halloween will be celebrated on Friday, October 31 during the afternoon.  Children in grades 1-8 can bring their costumes to school and change after lunch.  Please be aware that we are trying to provide a time for creative and tasteful costuming for the children which will support a more meaningful festival time.  It will be an internal student and teacher celebration with interaction between the classes during the afternoon. See costume guidelines listed below.

We are asking each family to bring a carved pumpkin with a tea light candle inside on Friday morning. Place the pumpkin outside of the Eurythmy room.  The pumpkins will be used to light up the room for their afternoon story time. If you would like your pumpkin at the end of the day, please make sure it has your name on it and you may pick it up after school. Any remaining pumpkins will be taken to the compost.

School is dismissed at the regular time of 2:30 for Grades 1-2 and 3:15 for Grades 4-8.

If you have any questions, please speak with your class teacher.

Sincerely,

Connie Stokes, Pedagogical Chair
