Description: With technology all around us, it's difficult to know how and when to integrate it thoughtfully, and age¬ appropriately at home and in school. Please join Diana Graber, founder of Cyberwise and Cyber Civics, to get helpful tips and actionable strategies to help your children navigate the challenges of the digital world. Learn about and experience a hands-on lessons from Cyber Civics¬, ¬the middle school digital citizenship and literacy program that helps students become ethical, thoughtful, and competent digital citizens.

Speaker: Diana Graber, a long-time Waldorf parent, is founder of Cyberwise.org and CyberCivics.com, two organizations dedicated to helping adults and youth learn digital literacy skills. A media producer with an M.A. in “Media Psychology & Social Change” and a B.A. in Communication Studies from UCLA, Graber is a regular contributor on digital media topics to The HuffPost and other publications. She has served as an Adjunct Professor of Media Psychology and teaches Cyber Civics at Journey School. Graber recently received the “2017 Media Literacy Teacher” award from the National Association of Media Literacy Education (NAMLE).

Workshop fee $20 in advance, $30 at the door.
