Athletics

 

At Highland Hall, students are encouraged to take part in our extra-curricular team sports program.  Our athletic philosophy is that team sports develop many important skills and that every student can be part of a team.  We welcome students with years of experience and also those who are new to extra curricular sports.  Our goal is for students to develop their athletic skills, learn teamwork, build confidence, foster social skills and, most of all, to have fun!

 

Highland Hall is a member of the Omega League and the San Fernando Valley Private School League which includes a number of other private schools in the area.  Our Athletic Director, Humberto Ramirez, has over 30 years experience coaching students and has led many of our teams to league championships.  Our High School teams are proud to have won, for various years, the Baseball, Basketball & Softball Leagues.  Our Middle School team won the Volleyball League a few years ago.

 

Our coaches and teachers work together to help student-athletes balance their academic work with their athletic endeavors.  All student-athletes are expected to embrace the school's tradition of respect, discipline, sportsmanship and fair play.
