Cara received her BA from Harvard University, and later received her JD from Stanford Law School. While at Stanford she focused on Lawyering for Social Change and served as President of Women at Stanford Law School. After graduating she conducted a variety of federal court civil rights litigation cases and worked with a number of non-profit and advocacy groups on shared litigation goals. Later she served as Vice-President of Dispute Resolution Services for Square Trade, and created the world's largest international dispute resolution service.
