Biography and Social Art is based on the understanding that all living things–even organizations such as schools–go through stages of growth, development, and metamorphosis. These workshops aim to strengthen the school’s ability to create community, as well as to support the participants as individuals within the community.

As in Waldorf education, Biography and Social Art engages our thinking, feeling, and willing. Participants will find it fun, moving, and enlightening. Imagination, nature observation, movement, art, writing, small group sharing, and listening will all help to build a sacred space for authentic human encounter.

We hope that you will join our core group of representatives from each of the bodies of HHWS– faculty, staff, administration, parents, and board–in exploring the dreams and hopes of our school.

The current year workshops are open to anyone in the community who would like to join the core group of representatives from each of the bodies of Highland Hall - faculty, staff, administration, parents and board.

This workshop series is free thanks to a grant through the Center for Biography and Social Art. You may participate in any the series: August 30, 2018, February 9, 2019, June 19, 2019
