When
10/13/2021

On Wednesday, October 13th, all ninth, tenth, and eleventh graders will be taking the PSAT on campus. It will begin promptly at 8 am so I will be encouraging all students to arrive on time. The students will need two No.2 pencils (mechanical ones are not allowed) and a calculator (https://collegereadiness.collegeboard.org/psat-nmsqt-psat-10/taking-the-tests/test-day-checklist/approved-calculators). As part of the SAT Suite of Assessments, the PSAT is designed to help prepare students for the SAT, college, and careers. Historically, students who took the PSAT/NMSQT scored higher on the SAT, on average, than those who didn’t take the test. Students will be receiving a practice guide sometime next week. Results from the PSAT typically come in early December. Students will be able to view their online score reports and get summaries of their performance on each test and content area. College Board does not send those results to colleges as they are not part of the college admission decisions.
