This part-time role is a vital part of our marketing and enrollment effort. Reporting to the Enrollment Director and working in partnership with the Director of School Advancement, the Enrollment and Marketing Coordinator helps drive our social media presence and is the first point of contact for many parents who are considering a Waldorf Education for their children.

ENROLLMENT COORDINATOR FUNCTION:
Provide administrative support to the Enrollment Director. Duties include answering email inquiries from prospective parents, placing calls to make and confirm appointments, assembling and mailing needed promotional and other material, and entering prospect information in our database and then ensuring regular follow up. Assist with day-to-day operations including but not limited to admissions, recruitment, enrollment services, transcript processing/evaluation, leads data management, and customer service as directed by the Enrollment Director. Familiarity with Waldorf Education, good communication and organization skills, confidence in online systems, professionalism and confidentiality are vital.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Provide customer service for telephone, online and in-person inquiries.
2. Assist with recruitment and admissions activities on and off campus during the day. Support may be needed at evening, and/or weekend activities/events as needed.
3. Maintain follow-up and monitor prospective students through phone communication, email, online chats, texting, and other types of personalized communication.
4. Support the Enrollment Director in the evaluation of the prospective family’s needs, interests, and qualifications while providing clear and concise information to help the prospective family.
5. Provides enrollment data.
6. Provide individuals with program, event, and application process information.
7. Assist with processing applications and data entry.
8. Performs additional tasks or duties as assigned.

ONLINE MARKETING COORDINATOR FUNCTION:
Responsible for creating, editing, distributing and optimizing relevant, contextual and personalized content across social media platforms to attract, engage and retain customers. Analyze performance data and make daily changes and optimizations to achieve set marketing objectives. The ideal candidate is a self-proclaimed social networking expert who actively uses Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Google, Pinterest, Reddit, blogging sites, and other social media platforms. We are looking for someone who knows what is hot now and what is next. You should have a passion for exploring cutting edge social networking platforms and have personal experience utilizing the latest tools and techniques to stay connected to friends, family, and colleagues.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Daily management of social media and advertising platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, blog, etc.
2. Engage in relevant online conversations
3. Create original content for recruiting, recognition, product launches, events and more
4. Work with Director of Advancement and Enrollment Director to create an online strategy
5. Use metrics to drive content decisions
6. Assist with special projects that support the school's marketing efforts.

The position entails 25 hours per week. Hours are somewhat flexible and occasional availability for night and weekend events is required. The position offers partial tuition remission for children enrolled at the school; there are no other benefits associated with this position.
