Highland Hall Waldorf School Student Named "Commended Student" in National Merit® Scholarship Program
Adam Adorney, Highland Hall Class of 2014 receives National Merit® Scholarship Commendation.
November 2013 - Highland Hall Waldorf School congratulates Adam Adorney, a senior at the school, for having been named "Commended Student" in the 2014 National Merit Scholarship Program (NMSC).
Adorney scored among the top 5% of the 1.5 million students nationwide who entered the 2014 competition by taking the 2012 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®).
"The young men and women being named Commended Students have demonstrated outstanding potential for academic success," commented a spokesperson for NMSC. "These students represent a valuable national resource; recognizing their accomplishments, as well as the key role their schools play in their academic development, is vital to the advancement of educational excellence in our nation. We hope that this recognition will help broaden their educational opportunities and encourage them as they continue their pursuit of academic success."

Highland Hall Waldorf School, located in Northridge, CA, was founded in 1955, and is the oldest Waldorf school on the west coast. It provides Waldorf® Education from Pre-school through High School to families throughout the San Fernando Valley and the greater Los Angeles area.
