Elizabeth Saldo Working with Endangered Species

As an undergrad at Cal Poly, Elizabeth Saldo volunteered for three years with Learning Among the Oaks where she assisted with outdoor science education and compiled a guide to local native plants showing how they were utilized by Native Americans. Elizabeth was also involved in several research projects and conducted field work for the Cal Poly Highway 101 Camera Monitoring Project and the Cal Poly Monarch Studies Lab.
After graduating in June, Elizabeth is now living and working in south Texas until September monitoring a small population of ocelots, an endangered cat species in the United States.
