Akana Sturla's Documentary on Hawai'ian Singer/Activist

Jennifer Akana Sturla ('90) is currently working on a documentary called "Bruddah Iz" about the late Hawaiian singer-songwriter and activist Israel Kamakawiwo‘ole.   His medley,“Somewhere Over the Rainbow / What a Wonderful World” gained him popularity around the world, especially in Hawaii where he is considered the voice of the Hawai'ian people.
