Kate Lottmann-Altshuller

 I recently graduated from Humboldt State University where I obtained a bachelor's degree in Biology. While I was at HSU I took many plant science classes and taught a supplemental botany class. After school I worked at the Humboldt Botanical Gardens and a local plant shop. I love teaching people of all ages about plants and gardening. I enjoy creating a community where people feel safe to be themselves and comfortable enough to ask questions. I love art and wish to integrate it into my teachings, because after all, gardening is a form of art. In my free time I care for my indoor garden of over 50 houseplants and enjoy baking and cooking.
