Children of Beqaa documents the director, Elias Matar, traveling to the Beqaa Valley, Lebanon during the summer of 2016 to volunteer with Salam LADC, a local NGO. The Beqaa Valley hosts over 800,000 Syrian refugees who have been living in a state of uncertainty not knowing what tomorrow will bring for the past five years. The film gives a voice to the refugees who are desperately seeking their stories to be heard.
