Janine Harrison

With over 25 years of teaching experience, Janine Harrison is a distinguished early childhood parent educator, specializing in the profound application of Waldorf education principles to family life. Her career has been marked by a deep commitment to guiding parents and children on a transformative journey inspired by the Waldorf philosophy.

 

Janine is known for her lighthearted approach, creating classrooms on farms and in forests, and crafting homelike learning environments that meet the child’s need for endless exploration. Janine’s programs for children and families resonate with Waldorf's core values of joy, simplicity, and the rhythms of the natural world. 

 

Through her work with parents Janine has helped families discover how to apply the Waldorf philosophy to enhance family life. Her expertise in holistic child development and nurturing strong parent-child relationships has made her a respected figure in early childhood education.

 

Janine has her BA in Theatre Arts & Psychology. She studied Waldorf Administration & Community Development and Grades Teaching at Sunbridge College and completed her Early Childhood Training at Lifeways. She is a student of Piklerian and RIE principles which she brings to her work with her programs’ youngest children.
