Indigenous People's Day Assembly, Grades 1-8

The Los Angeles City Council voted this past August to replace Columbus Day to Indigenous People's Day on the city calendar.

Highland Hall's Indigenous People's Day assembly will be held in the Eurythmy room for students in grades 1 through 8. Alan Salazar, a storyteller and California Native American, will present stories and artifacts for the children to enjoy.
