A nonprofit coalition called Planet911, comprised of environmental activists (Creative Visions, EarthX, EarthxFilm, Global Green), together with Waldorf100 Schools, is launching an international call to action using Film, Arts & Media. The kickoff is today, half earth day. Their kickoff involves a screening that evening of a film called The Human Element which highlights the effects of global warming on individuals in the U.S. As part of the kickoff, the filmmakers are screening a 15 minute version of the film and holding a discussion with our students.
