Best known for her work with all-female tribute band The Iron Maidens and the hard rock band Femme Fatale, Nita has toured extensively throughout the U.S., Europe and Asia. Nita began playing the guitar at age 13 and started performing at heavy metal shows while still in high school. In 2010, Strauss was asked to join Jermaine Jackson and members of Michael Jackson's band for a series of concerts in Africa.
As one of the top female hard rock guitarists, Nita has been featured in many commercials, print ads, albums, trailers, and soundtracks, as well as video games. Her guitar skill, exuberant stage presence and professional reputation has led to endorsements from a dozen companies worldwide.
